Kingswells is an established and growing community and this is evident in the diversity of the age, nationality and life stories of the people who gather together for worship. As a church, we believe it’s people that matter, how we relate to God and how we relate to one another, and so our hope and our prayer is that beyond searching this site, you will be encouraged to visit us in person.
We are open for in-person worship. Please join us at 11am on Sunday. Tea and coffee is available after the service.
Pastoral Support: As we are without a minister pastoral support is being provided by our Interim Moderator, Rev. Eddie McKenna with support from the ministers in the Aberdeen West Parish Grouping. Please contact Rev. McKenna on 07460 725353, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
CLOSURE OF KINGSWELLS CHURCH
As a result of decisions made by the Presbytery of Aberdeen & Shetland in 2022 when a new Mission Plan was adopted, the church buildings at Kingswells are to close at the end of June 2023. The Kirk Session is in discussions to move into a Union with Skene Church and it is hoped that a formal Basis of Union will be in place by early summer 2023. The congregation will have an opportunity to see the Basis of Union once approved by the Kirk Session, and will have the opportunity to vote by secret ballot following Sunday worship. The date for this is yet to be confirmed.
